What should I do first?

If your primary insurance carrier is United Healthcare or Tricare simply select the provider and appointment time that works for you below.

If your primary insurance carrier is Cigna, start by entering your information with Wildflower Health here. Once that is completed you should be rerouted back to this page to choose a provider and appointment time.

If your primary insurance carrier is another employer based or marketplace purchased plan, such as Anthem, Aetna, or BCBS, check for coverage with TLN here. You will receive a confirmation email from TLN that they have received your submission. Typically you can expect a response with your approval or denial from them within 4-6 business hours, often sooner. You may wait to request an appointment until you've received your approval, or go ahead and choose a provider and appointment time now. If your plan does not participate with TLN we will file a claim to your carrier for you in hopes that you may still be reimbursed.

If your primary insurance carrier is VACCN, ask for a referral to TLN and/or Columbia Lactation Care.

If your primary insurance carrier is Medicaid or a known "grandfathered" plan, such as PEBA, that doesn't cover lactation, we would still encourage you to submit with TLN with the hope that they will see the market demand is there and reach out to your carrier to negotiate coverage. However, since those plans don't have to cover lactation, it is unlikely that you will receive coverage and unnecessary to wait for their response before selecting a provider and appointment time.
